ABOUT
Hi! My name is Jen Villa and I am an artist and {somewhat accidental} serial entrepreneur living on Cape Cod. I opened The Little Beach Gallery in 2009 after living in California for six years and it changed my life in ways I never imagined. Running a small business on the Cape has taught me so much and connected me deeply to a sense of community + meaning.
After a few years of running the gallery, representing and connecting with the incredible local artist community, I collaborated with fellow localistas Amanda Converse + Kate Sheehan and started Love Live Local, an online lifestyle guide promoting all things local.
A year later, I co-founded Love Yoga Fest, a local yoga festival, with my LoveLiveLocal partners and local yogi Annika Illiadis which successfully ran for 3 years at Aselton Park in Hyannis.
In 2014, I partnered with local food enthusiast and Registered Dietitian Nicole Cormier to create The Local Juice, a cold pressed juice company.
In 2017, I opened The West End, a 20's inspired restaurant serving locally-sourced cuisine and crafted cocktails at the West End Rotary in Hyannis next to the Melody Tent.
My days consist of stress management and project juggling but I truly love the life I’ve build for myself. I get to be creative every single day. I am following a path driven by passion and fueled by a sense of belonging and being part of something bigger than myself.
But wait, there’s more! I’m also a proud board member of both the Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District (BID) and Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC).
